Goethals Bridge.
J.P. Hogan was subcontracted for the road saw cutting, coring and wire sawing associated with the demolition of the Goethals Bridge. The demolition of the 7500 ft long bridge took approximately 18 months to complete. The old piers had to be safely dropped to the ground and the only way to effectively do that was through the use of diamond wire sawing of the vertical structural rebar.
We have retained our prominence in the industry, become recognized as a DBE by the Florida Department of Transportation as well as the Georgia Department of Transportation. In addition we are certified in the following areas: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Maryland (MBE and DBE) and West Virginia.
